Is anyone out there that had no relationship ?

Personally, I am 17 yo and even though I have found several attractive girls, I'm not much into a relationship. I mean, i feel just like being dependent of the other person and not paying attention to her surely leads to a break up. It's like... how can I have a girlfriend if I can't spend extra time with her?

Having a girlfriend you don't spend time with is not a good idea. Girls are gonna wind up feeling used, because that's basically what happens in a relationship like that. Just occasionally having sex and not really anything else is basically just using someone... Feelings get involved, man! I've never been in a relationship myself, but this is basic stuff anyone can understand. People usually want to attach a few strings if you know what I mean. But you don't have to sacrifice your independence! You don't have to shack up, that's optional. Besides that, you're 17 so you probably live with your parents anyways, so shacking up is pretty much out of the question anyways XD

Yeah, I know what you mean. In my case, I'm not even trying to get into a relationship because my life is screwy and my head's not in the right place. I'd always reccomend waiting for the right situation to arise, rather than jumping into something you don't think will work. If you can't spend ample time with your signifigant other, that's kind of a deal breaker. Just hang in there!

Well I've been single for 16 years now, and very content with it. But to have a girlfriend, you have to spend time with her./

Dont just go into a relationship for sex or something u Need to find an emotional Attachement to the Girl and want to be with her for more than just sex and if u do that u will want to spend as much time with her as u can :)
There is not shame in waiting :)

I am 16 and I have had NO relationship. I am happy like this. But if you are in a relationship make sure you are in it because you want to not just for the sake of it.

I've never been in a relationship either, and it's not really a big deal for me. I know I'm not ready to commit to someone, so I'm not even looking for a boyfriend.

As for your second question, you can't have a girlfriend if you don't spend time with her. That just defeats the whole purpose of a relationship.

If you aren't ready to commit to spending time with the other person, then how are you supposed to have a good relationship? I would wait until you actually want to spend time/ have time to get to know the other person, and wait until you have an emotional attachment to someone before jumping into a relationship, or it will be lonely for both of you.

I have been in a few relationships before, so I can't attest to that.

But, if you do have a girlfriend, you're going to need to spend time with her, or else it won't work out very well.

Well, you can't be in the relationship if you don't want to commit.
You sound like you aren't really someone who would like a relationship - no need to force yourself. However, you can give it a shot, you don't know until you try. You may like it, you may not, but you can't know that until you try.
