As i am often nude at hoime when friends come over most of them get naked too or else just strip to their undes.

My close friends and I get naked together lots so they would probably get naked too and it wouldn't be an issue.

If it was a friend who I was unsure about I would probably put boxers on before I answered the door.

I would certainly approach this on the assumption I would get dressed because people usually wear clothes in public and when they have company.

Of course, what people wear when they have privacy or are amongst people who all agree, such as a family of naturists or at a colony or beach of the same, is up to them.

If a friend came round, found that I was naked and specifically said "don't bother getting dressed, I'll get naked instead" I'd be quite happy with that but as a practical matter I can't see how it would happen. I would not go to the door naked, for example. I suppose if someone else let the friend in and all I could grab in time was a bath robe or something similar there could be a chance for that conversation.
