How do you get a girl to like you?

Hai :D I'm asking this girl to prom, but she likes this other guy, who doesn't like her back. He likes someone else. So, i want to somehow win her over to my side in a month, and somehow woe her and ask her to prom sucessfully. Any tips?

If she likes the guy and he doesnt like her back, she still might keep trying with the guy. But here are some tips I've gathered over my time.
1. Conversation- Talk nicely to them, compliments, how their day is going, etc.
2. Dress Nicely- Dont dress like a douche, pants OVER your underwear, no SWAG t shirts, etc.
3. Smell Nice- Common sense...deoderant/cologne
