Alright.. So I might have Asperger's. I've not been diagnosed but both of my parents think I do (and I agree with them), so it's kind of a self diagnosis but with people agreeing with me :P

Anyway.. I really hate being around new people (even people I've met a few times and just don't know very well).

I'm 17 and it's likely I'll be applying for jobs soon (and getting interviewed). Has anyone with Asperger's here had a job interview? If so, what was it like? Any advice?

The thought of me walking into a room with 2-3 complete strangers and answering a bunch of questions about myself terrifies me. What should I do? :(

That sounds more like social anxiety. I actually know some people that have been wrongly diagnosed as asbergers and really just have a dislike for people or a stubborn streak. I'm not autistic and I'm stubborn as hell. It doesn't mean your autistic.

im diagnosed asperguers and im too young to ever been to a job interview but i did have schoolarship interviews and school applications. Normally if the doctor confirms that u have it, they give u some papers and when u apply for a job, u gotta be honest and tell it and as it is official they have this anti-discrimination laws that they gotta give u a better chance and the guys in human resources are normally trained for those situations. Good luck!
