How do you hug a girl?

So, this is a follow up question from my prom question. I think I have a pretty good chance of her saying yes to me asking her to prom, so Im not sure whether or not to hug her, and how do i hug a girl exactly :I ANy help would be appreciated on the subject.

of course you should hug her if she does say yes! :) just put your arms out and hug her under her arms, when you put yours out she will probably lift her arms up. like so she hugs you around your neck and youre around her waist.. that's the one I always go for! hope that makes sense

I have been told that if a person leans into a hug
that want a really good long hug. And if they lean
away from the hug trying to have as little body contact
as possible then they just want a quick casual hug. I
guess you are supposed to initiate it and then kind of follow
her lead. No one gets this stuff right the first time around
so try to just have fun and not worry. The only thing you
should worry about is being too worried.

Hugging comes naturally, just put your arms around and feel comfortable. I know people get stressed about the little things like hugs but you just need to do what is right. But don't hold it toooo long otherwise they'll think your desperate, when you can feel her start to pull away a little bit, then break the hug.
