Irradiation

He is there
Across fibre optics
Casual talker
Satisfied backing music
Under sprinkled lights

He is out there
His world is outside
Yet casual, no erosion
From the exposure
No mention of no barriers, or limits

You find him on the internet
Beyond the core
Across and around our world
Loved by millions

No secrets, no walls, no hidden places
A glass skyscraper of doors, lights and cameras
No keys

No security as there is nothing to secure against
He left his open door, coming out
Breathe in the outside air, the intense sunlight, the warm wind

When the wind slams the door behind you
You have no keys
Locked out

And when the weather gets worse you cannot get inside
no security outside
your skyscraper has no security inside

the storm comes, you smash the door to get in
hearing the glass smash above
the wind and glass tears down

you run as you cannot hide
from your own disintegrating home
where there was nowhere to hide

you are exposed
to erode away
into stardust

I like this, it's really good! I like the shape of it too, it's interesting.

I like this, it's really good! I like the shape of it too, it's interesting.

The shape happened by itself, actually. I only realised the short-long-short structure after I made it.
