Let Go

Breathe.
Take a deep breath and breathe.
No, don't open your eyes.
Don't think.
Just write, and breathe.

Go ahead, let your eyes water.
Let yourself cry.
I entice you.

Go ahead, let yourself feel.
You don't have to be strong forever.
Your human.

I know you can't do this all the time.
Why do you try?
Let yourself break down.
Go ahead.

I don't know if I can.
How? Why? Where?
Everytime I feel these things it's the wrong time.
I have this to do, I have that to fix.
I can't do this.
I haven't the time.

You know what you're going to say?
I do. You always say it.

"It's okay. Just let yourself go. Stop worrying. You can finish your projects later. You're more important."

I can't, though.
Life doesn't stop because I am weak.
I need this.
Maybe if I'm lucky enough, I'll cut deeper.
Maybe I'll go to sleep tonight and not wake up.
