So I'm 16 and am a boy. I started puberty when I was about 13 so I am a fair way though.
For the past two years I've been having a few gender identity issues. I often really wish I could become a girl and get rid of my penis and all the accompanying boy characteristics. Sometimes these desires are strong and I feel it is something in really want other times it doesn't seem to matter as much
The thing is I'm terrified about telling my parents because they will be so shocked. How can I tell them? It would be so embarrassing!
Also I feel that it's too late to become a girl because I see pictures of bus Whi have become girls and they look like they were born a girl betas they started treatment early and didn't go though boy puberty. If I were to start treatment I'm scared I will look still quite manly.
Finally can you suggest and kind of small lifestyles changes I can do to my life now as a boy a bit more comfortable until I can pluck up the courage to tell my parents.
Thanks.
Joey.

I can't really tell you how to come out to them about it.
But, it's not too late.
I've watch videos about the gender change,
and you can't even start it till you are in puberty.
If you have strong feelings toward this situation,
Do what makes you happy!
and you don't have to completely do the surgery.
Some guys dress in more feminine clothing,
because they feel more comfortable with it.
There is loads of videos on youtube about transformation,
without the surgery if your interested in that.
GoodLuck :)

Well it's never to late some people start at 18 and even end up as or even prettier then most girls so you shouldn't worry for that. It's truly up to you if you would tell your parents about this. I think it really depends on their view points on the whole thing. If there open to things like this then you can tell them. If not then I'd think about waiting a bit and maybe dropping a few hints about it and have them ask you if your to scared to tell them . It's all up to you on who you want to be . If this is what makes you happy then it's really all up to you. When it comes to life style I think it should be a gradual shift rather then going straight into dressing as a full women maybe start with more feminine outfits like tighter jeans and a cute shirt and growing your hair out. I also think it's better to wait a bit so that you know that this is really what you want to do . I hope this helps good luck with what ever you choose

The thing is to turn yourself physically into a girl might be extremely dangerous.
Many has become psychologically unstable due to the change.
Be what God has made you.
For your own sake, you were born a boy, remain a boy and act accordingly.

Its never too late to do a sex change. I think you should wait until you are sure that you want to be a girl to come out. Live as you would, ddon't think about it, and see how you feel. Remember you have a while to make your decision.

Hey, im transgender myself and like others said its not to late to transition sure you could have started before puberty and went on blockers but there are many that don't and turn out looking very feminine. Even if you still look manly if you really want to there are surgery's you can have to make you look feminine.
With coming out to your parents they are always going to be shocked there is nothing really you can do to prepare them to find out there son wishes to be a girl. I suggest writing a letter like I did though it makes it easyier. Just give it to them tell them it is important and leave for a bit. So you don't have to tell them face to face. If you do that come prepared with knowledge on A LOT because I was bombarded with questions afterwards. Also have some other people that are on YouTube they can watch themselves just to see that it isn't something so weird and unheard of. (Johnluuu is pretty good, Zacaria Lee is also good and Cassidy Lynn is also good.) Just maybe bring up the topic some how in conversation and see there reaction and what they think of transgender people because you still rely on them.
Also to be more feminine now you could wear tighter clothing. You could wear a lot of jeans and hoodies/jumpers because guys and girls both wear it so yeah and you could dye your hair a colour that is considered girly like a red or even pink if you don't care what people think. I dark purple even, your choice.
Also you said you often so unless you just said often and mean all/most of the time have you considered you may just like crossdressing or even may be gender fluid.
Anyway if you want to talk PM me because it would be cool to be able to talk to someone else in kind of the same boat as me. (If I can PM i don't know if I need a certain amount of posts or not?)
