In the book for the twilight saga, edward cullen was a marvelous creature but when it came to the movies robert pattenson was not the right person for the role

I'm not one of those fan girls of the Twilight saga...however I am not one of those avid haters. I think the series is okay. I mean, it's just a book series, who cares if vampires aren't they way they're supposed to be? Who cares if they "sparkle"? But anyways, Edward isn't bad of a character though he's too overprotective of Bella.

I'm not a "hater", but the Twilight thing isn't my cup of tea. I prefer vampires who burn rather than sparkle when the sun rises. xD I don't mind Edward though, but Bella was getting on my nerves more than once.

I tried reading the first book, but stopped once the whiny girl kept on complaining about the weather. So from the limited amount of time I was exposed to Edward in the book, he's creepy and unapproachable. I honestly don't know why this book has so many fangirls, it's not even that good.

I haven't read the books and I refuse to. I suffered the movies because my ex forced me to watch them with him. Edward Cullen was a creepy, obsessive stalker. And why would Bella choose him over Jacob's hot, constantly shirtless body??? Is the girl blind???? I mean i'd have way more fun with Jacob than with Edward :D

The character is fine, the person they had play as the character in the movie was not at all what Edward should have been. Robert Pattinson is a good actor in other movies, but I don't think Twilight was a good choice for him.
