Here's my idea: instead of sending messages to each other and replying to threads by typing, we can use videos!! Eh? Simple, you can get any camera, attach it to the computer, hook the whole thing up to vt, record the video, and instead of typing responses there will be a vid of you saying what you want to say!! It would make things a lot more interesting around here. Plus the fact that you can "hear" the voices it may lead to better communication. It would also allow people to get their feelings across easier. Oh one more idea, vt video chat! Mods think about, I will be waiting. :evilgrin:

We're not a social network, it's a forum. This isn't oovoo or Omegle or whatever. Not everyone wants to show their face here and that's fine. This is absolutely not going to be implemented.

And on another note I think that mentioning a mod like that not only makes them feel uncomfortable, but it's unnecessary entirely.

Well we have that "say hi VT" thread where everyone posts videos, if you want I guess you can record all of your posts, upload them to youtube and then embed them lol. Nobody will stop you from doing that, but it seems like a lot of trouble for a post that could probably be typed out in 1-2 minutes.

Just imagine how abused that would be...and how pointless. Like Mike said, you can make a youtube video and embed it yourself. Another thing is, how active would it be? How many people would use it? Not that many. And it would be just another one of those features that only lasts for a bit, then it dies out and nobody ever uses it.
