I really like that second photo and how the eyes are drawn to the ski lift-thingy :P
It looks like a lot of fun to get to own a place like that!

It's actually the highest hill in Nova Scotia and 2nd highest in Atlantic Canada (4 Provinces) with Marble Mountain in Newfoundland being higher by 100 feet.. We took it over 4 years ago, it had been closed for 5 years at the point when we took it over. We started by operating just the surface lift for 3 years, and this year we will be running our Quad Chair lift meaning full access to the hill will be available... Kind of pumped
