Good idea to see the doctor. I don't know what it could be, but a blood infection is a possibility. Clearing it up now rather than later is best.

i think you should go to the doctor immediately
its possibly infected or damaged or has poor circulation, do u remember hitting ur arm anywhere? did u give blood anytime recently?

Black indicates a necrotic vein.. Do you ever become short of breath or feel like your going to faint? If not is most likely just a torn muscle

You could have a cardiac problem if you do faint. Get to the hospital, make your parents take you or find a way.. You need to get there..

A possible sign of an aneurysm? Either way, this is not a natural thing, go to the doctor.

An anyrisum is a large vein or artery that forms a large ballon on it self and it continues to expand. These form is the abdomen, brain and chest most often and are most always fatal unless treated instantly. Like you'd have to b lucky enough to drop in a hospital and the time for and ambulance or helicopter to gets there and you'd be gone already.

This is a VERY serious concern and you should see a doc ASAP because if you have one and it pops your a gonner or worse, quadrapligic or brain dead.

Also have you used any drugs IV or IM like krockodial or heroin?
Some of these drugs cause this and worse things, seriously watching the skin fall of your bones. Just Google it. Its bad!

It sounds like something is VERY gravely wrong with you. I can not stress it enough! Go to the ER! My aunt died from this, it happened to be an anyrisum.

Its very serious if your light headed and have a black vein. You could lose your arm to say the least! Don't take any chances, go to the er! I speak from personal experience with my aunt. Don't wait till its too late! :(

Could be an infection, anyrisum, vein with blocked blood flow, sever blood poisoning on its way to your vital organs, blood clot, hematoma or a rotting vein due to drug use or unidentified natural causes.

All of those reasons warent an immediate trip to the hospital.

Quite honestly if your also feeling light headed call an ambulance if you have no one to take you! They would take you. It happens all the time round my town, at our school if we are light headed they call ambulance. They won't be mad. They will get you yo the er. Tell 911 that your very light headed and a vein has turned black. They'll come!

And IF you have used any drugs, illicit or prescription, don't lie about it as this could be the cause and would be imperative of treatment. It is NOT the hospitals job to report you. You won't get in trouble at all. I know this because I have some close people that work in the er. They only need to know as to how to best treat your injury/illness.

Trust me, its better to go by ambulance than to set around and wait until something awful happens. Be safe not sorry!

The school nurse should be able to tell
if something is serious. As far as I know
she is obligated to try making sure you
see a doctor. It always helps when an
adult in authority says "she needs to
see a doctor" if your parents are not
willing to listen to you.

Go to the DR or ER! Light headedness in it self is bad. Get checked out for god sakes! Don't end up like my aunt! :(
