I'm not sure if many people here have the game, but if you do, I imagine that you're aware of the Lumiose City game-breaking glitch. By saving in the bordering boulevards outside of the buildings in the city, and loading from that save point, your game will freeze in a half-loaded state of Lumiose City, without bring able to move anything on either screen, forcing you to restart your 3DS, and losing all progress if you wanted to play the game again.
This glitch occurred in American, Japanese, and European versions of the game.
However, Nintendo acknowledged this, and soon after, released a patch, not only fixing the glitch, but repairing your save file. You can get this update by going into the Nintendo eShop and downloading it for free under software updates or Pokemon X and Y.
