No, they will not.

If you unfriend an active member, unless they check, they will not know.

Banned members have no access to the forums, and don't receive anything from them, so if you unfriend them, they will never know.

What was said above is correct. No one will know if you approve or decline a friend request, or if you delete someone, banned or unbanned unless they check. :)
