You don't LOVE the individual. Unless there were feelings between you two but you couldn't get together for some reason. What is sex without attraction?

A lot of friends love each other, thats how you get best friends, and become in relationships/marriage. Also some just do it for the pleasure, which is the general direction people are going now adays

I have sex with friends and it's great. Some of us just don't need love, it's very casual. Why do you have to be in "love"?

I use "love" and "attraction" interchangeably if that helps. :frenchblank:

Sex and love are two very different things and there doesn't even need to be love to have sex with someone, some people just like friends with benefits and some don't. It can cause so many problems though, mainly someone developing feelings for each other which can then make that friendship rather awkward. It only works with friends if they is no feeling. While personally, I wouldn't do it because I do think that sex should have at least a little bit of an element of love, people are people and if that's what they want to do why judge them for it.

Oh, well we are definitely sexually attracted to each other, otherwise, we probably wouldn't do it.

I have 3 male friends that I get together with. But keep in mind the rules. We can't go much further with this. Remember never to assume heterosexuality. I don't consider any to be a "boyfriend", just friends with benefits. :-)

I feel like I need to add here that although I don't think "love" is necessary to enjoy sexual activity with others and have this activity forever viewed as a positive thing in one's life, I do feel like eventually most people will settle into a relationship with someone, even myself. But that can be in the future, it should create no problem for sexual activity now.
