I'm a huge relationship-phobe. I just got into a relationship with my best guy friend and we've been together for almost two months, and I'm really trying to make things work.

He just told me that he loved me. I'm absolutely freaked out. He's had a crush on me for almost a year, so I guess I saw this coming. But, how soon is too soon to tell someone you love them?

I genuinely care about him, but I can't tell him I love him. What do you do when you know your partner loves you?

Why is this a problem? Just open your mouth and tell him that you love him. You're making a big deal out of nothing. Chill out before you have a heart attack.

You don't have to tell him until you're ready. At two months? It's unlikely that you do. Just wait until it's you feel like you need to. There's no reason to start throwing around those big commitment words until you're sure.

Two months is way too early, if you ask me. Plus, there's a difference between caring or liking someone, and loving them. When you're actually ready to say it, you won't feel freaked out. There's no point in saying it if you say it just cause you feel pressured about needing to say it.

Everyone moves at their own pace.
For some, they move quickly (such as your boyfriend)
I know its hard to be forward about it because
you don't want to hurt his feelings/put him down..
But letting him know directly will be best,
If not and he keeps saying it and you don't say it back
then he's gonna think your not interested in him.

Goodluck! :)
