Ok well we have had some incidents involving members that are over the age of 19. Now unlike members like Kodie who are still active does not involve them in this matter.

I am talking about members joining that are in their 20's. This needs to be dealt with and needs to happen right now. We need to check their birthdate before they register. Is there anyway that we can check these new member's birthday's before they register?

Sure I'll just call my contacts in the information inspections..

Anyway no, and it is always dealt with when the admins find out

There is no automatic way to block people over 19. If you've seen an overage member report them and they'll be banned. Overage members are quickly taken cared of and its nothing to worry about.

Checking every single account being registered is really time consuming and it hasn't gotten that serious to do such a drastic measure.

Agreed. No one here is pyschic. We can't tell who lied on their age or not. This site is never full proof because people lie about their age all the time!

I do remember however about a 19 year old who was posting about his wife or something and russians or something. I dont remember it was weird. Does anyone else remember that?

Back in the days when I typed "banned" in the search thing to see threads which resulted in bans, yes, I remember that. :P lol

Ok... basically as siad, we have no way to restrict membership on registration we just have to go by what people post. Usually people over 19 have a different way and tone of posting and it is not that hard to see.

The only problem was is that in the end he was just advertising crapoda! Anyways getting back on topic...

They do sound a little different. Or read a little different or whatever you call it. There is a certain style but some people type like adults.... which goes back to you can never be sure

i don't think it's necessary. In fact I remember when a mother had come on looking for advice for her daughter because she didn't know what to do and all the members who read it were able to help her.

point is that would be very complicated to try and prove that there teens and it would decrease the join rate because...well if its hard or complicated they will loose interest i usually do

Thats like putting a cap on how many are allowed to join in a 24hr time period to prevent spams
that could block ligit members
ya just gotta deal when it happens

As some as you already mentioned, there is no way in knowing how old one can be, there are people out there who lie about their age. Like you can say you're fifteen, when really you can be some 50 yearold pervert looking for young teens.

Anyway...thats just my opinion.
