So when did you notice that your pits started to smell and do you use deodorant now? I just started noticing mine after I work out or play sports. Whats your fav deodorant? Will shaving kinda help?

I don't think I ever came to the realization that I smell, but I just started using deoderant in like 8th grade. I use old spice (swagger or aqua reef) because the antiperspirant in it actually keeps me dry. It also gets my compliments from any girls who goes near me. I honestly can't say the same thing for axe and degree deoderants which I've also used.

They stink if I don't shower in the morning or do sport. I love lynx and according to science shaving should help. It's a long boring story that I won't go into but shaving should help. I haven't tried and dont intend to

My dad got me a stick of deodorant when I turned 13.
I don't really need it much but I use it every day because
it smells good and makes me feel more grown up.

I was in 7th grade when I started using deodorant.
I agree with the guy above that shaving does not really help because once the hair follicles are there, then you will have odor. You have to use deodorant once you start to notice smells down there and make sure you are taking showers after practice or an event.
Old Spice, Degree, and many store brand will do the job for deodorants. You might need to try a couple of them to see what works for you because some guys get skin irritations from some brands but have no problems with others.

I started smelling at about 11, and having to where deodorant. I like the Axe dry deodorant. I've never shaved my pits, I don't think that's very masculine to do that or necessary.

I think I was in the 6th grade when I started to use deodorant. During that time, I was playing football and baseball for my school, so it was sort of a must.
I use Old Spice Pure Sport.
No, shaving has no effect on how much your armpits smell when sweating.

I use old spice. My dad got me some when I was 12 and just told me I might be needing it soon. I think shaving would just make it really itchy so it's probably a bad idea.

Well I dont really get alot of sweat but noticed it at 12 I usually use Sure men Anti Perspirant or Lynx dry, I use Anti Perspirant most rather than Deodorant because Anti Perspirant actually uses aluminium to block the sweat glands and stop you from sweating so you dont smell, Deodorant doesnt stop you sweating but targets the odor bacteria under your arm making it too acidic or salty so the odor bacteria dies and you no longer smell.

I sweat loads, especially in school.
I wear antiperspirant like Sure or Right Guard under my arms (obviously) and then body spray all over like some cheap supermarket brand or Lynx

When I was around 13 I noticed it would start smelling pretty bad after I played sports. I usually use Axe Kilo or Anarchy in a can but sometimes use stick deodorant to (don't like it as much). Doubt shaving will help as I dont have any underarm hair and the smell is there.

I used to use Axe: (something with blue and silver stripes that I don't recall the name of) but it didn't work well with me, so now I use Axe: Dark Temptations, and it is a very notable difference in pit odour. It works well cuz I like it and the girls around here notice it quickly.

Around 11ish i started noticing smell. Personally i've tried shaving my armpits before and it gets very irritating when it grows back. I don't think shaving will help a noticeable amount, i would say hair helps trap odor and sweat so i guess that can be a positive and a negative in one. I use any antiperspirant deodorant because it helps minimize the sweat, along with stopping the smell. Regular deodorant can wear off during the day as you have prolonged sweat, especially in sports. Currently i use 'Dove men extra care' but there are many other ones that i usually use like a sports deodorant. :)

shaving makes a difference for me. As long as i dont do any sporting activity and stay in a cool place, i will last about 7 hours. Putting the two together(deodorant(preferably axe + shaved) I can last the whole day despite any sporting activities

I always smell bad, but that comes with living on a farm. When I go anywhere I use AXE apollo stick and AXE dark temptation spray together or just 007 James Bond cologne. With both, I've had girls tell me I smell good. ;)
