why don't we have a sticky locked thread in the suggestions forum displaying the most common suggestions and the response (for example lowering post count for pm)

You mean something like this (http://www.virtualteen.org/forums/showthread.php?t=153812)?

Honestly, you should always take a quick glance on the first page or two to see if it's been asked, and if it hasn't, then ask away. People probably wouldn't read a sticky anyways, as half the things there get asked anyways. :P

I suggested that a long time ago

It was refused on the basis that majority of people wouldn't read it.

I actually like this idea, you know, it's good for us lazy people who don't feel like digging through pages of threads for answers.

But that's more of an FAQ. What op is asking for is a sticky that shows common suggestions and the responses of Adkins as to why they would or wouldn't work. Although you're right about the fact that people would still ask

Well it wasn't "refused", I just said I didn't think it would really make any kind of difference, then the conversation died.

Well no one really thought it would be beneficial and no one wanted to spend time creating it and then no one apart from me ever made a reply so I assumed as the most logical way of looking at it, that the suggestion was refused.
