Not all do. But some think because what happens if their man doesnt like them anymore? Or dumps her? Or dies? Then they have a back up plan.

I don't know, it's kind of true and I don't think guys see things the same way we do, so it's hard for them to understand why we do the things we do.

I guess some people are like that, but for most I don't think that's it at all. I'm engaged, and I'd never even think about leaving Seth for another man. But, I have guy friends who I'm incredibly close to, and yeah, if something happened to Seth, or he dumped me or something crazy like that, I'd probably start dating one of them. Not because they're back ups, or my "Plan B" or anything, just because I trust them, and I would be in a bad place, and they would know what to do.
