Hey Mark.
First of all, congratulations on coming out to your parents, It's a really brave thing to do and you should be proud of doing so.
Secondly, I'm not too sure why things are awkward in your house, your sexuality shouldn't be much of a problem with your parents - Possibly talk to them and ask them if they have any problems with you being Bi or anything like that?
Either way, good luck. :)

You'll be fine. They're just in a bit of shock at the moment. My dad had the same response when I came out to them, he didn't talk to me or even look at me for about 2 weeks. Then he started talking to me like nothing had happened. Give your parent a week or two to adjust to it. It's a new thing for them too.

Coming out is kind of a big deal to parents. They just need some time to process it, and then it'll all go back to normal eventually.
