I want to start out by saying hi, and want to share my addiction story to all of you, my usual spot is drug forums or harm reduction sites. But seing as though I'm 16. I thought id try here and see if anyone can relate to my situation.
Ok here it goes, I am a opiate addict. I've realised that for a long time now, with multiple tie ins with tramadol, oxycotin, subutex/subuxode.
I can't handle life without them, currently just high doses of trams and percs. My withdraws are just to much and I'm afraid its frying my brain, I lie in bed eager for my next dose. Emotionless, only one thing on my mind drugs. I'm sick of it, I haven't had real social interaction for over a year, and even that was mostly related to drugs.
I'm just finding someone who can relate. Someone who can help among the chaos. Because I just cant take it anymore...
Sorry for the strong/strange approach. But im anonymous here, and really just want to get this off my chest.
Thanks for reading and hey all.

It's good that you realize your addiction is not beneficial to you, and now you need to walk the path to eliminate it. Opiate addiction can lead to some serious problems down the road. I'm sure you know most - if not all - of the problems they cause so I won't waste your time explaining them.
Reach out to anyone you can. A parent, a friend, a guidance counselor, or even a religious center such as a church, temple, or sangha. Fighting an addiction cannot be done alone, and in saying that I can speak with experience. You will not beat it by yourself.
Throw out any pills or intoxicants you have access to immediately. If you want to get clean, the easiest way is to get rid of anything that could ruin your progress. I know getting rid of your stash is a rough step to take, but it's necessary and you will be thanking yourself later for doing so. Next is to make a plan to stick with sobriety. Get rid of friends who don't influence you in a good way, pick up new hobbies to keep you occupied, and most importantly: find something to relieve your stress and anxieties. Withdrawal is going to mess with your emotions. You need to find something that makes you happy, a way that you can combat your negative emotions.
Stay with those steps and progress them as necessary. There isn't anyone who can't beat addiction with the right amount of willpower. If this is something you truly want to do, then there is no reason why you shouldn't be capable of doing so. If you ever need someone to talk to, I'll be glad to help you with whatever it is you may need. Best of luck.

What benefits do you get from them, if any?
