For those who have: Is experimenting even worth it?
Does it even feel good or help any uncertainty sexually?
Was it regretful?
And why are we so curious during puberty?

Of course it is. How will you be sure of what you do and don't like without trying it?

I guess. I just ask because I have never done it, but as a 19 yr old loner, I wonder is it worth it? I do want to try but I'd feel guilty and odd but honestly sexually I am a little confused.

Experimenting means played around sexually with someone, regardless of gender. A girlfriend, boyfriend, friend. It can be and usually just is, masturbation with another.

I'm an 18 year old loner, but if the opportunity arises, I won't say no to experimenting with different aspects of sexuality and life in general lol. It's not for everybody, some people just don't feel the need to experiment and are comfortable the way they are.

Ok, yes I did with a woman and it was ok. She was a bitch (we with friends payed for it). It was like "to know" what's all this about.
But of course it was just sex, maybe make love would be a bit different, who knows.

I experimented with my best mate (boy) and we both enjoyed it. We were very close to start with, so it wasnt awkward. I have heard of people who found it horrendously embarrassing afterwards though. Im bi and experimenting helped me realise that I am for certain.

I envy those people from your last line.

Yes I hahve with my best friend (boy) it was a little awkward at first, but then we got over that and very enjoyed it, it just takes the right friend that you and he are really open. My gf and I tried itbut it was so much tension (preg & virginity), that it was not a very good experience

I have experimented with a boy, he asked me, it wasn't like the best thing in the world, but it was nice, we were just really curious. At that time I felt a bit guilty, but now I just laugh when I remember it.

I'm in the middle of 'No but I want to' and 'No never'. I've never done it. Sometimes I think I would like to try experimenting, but I'm not comfortable showing my body to anyone unless I'm in a relationship with them, or maybe if we're best friends but I don't have any best friends.

Gonna jump in with a comprehensive answer. I've experimented with people of the same sex in the past yet I truly don't know if I enjoyed it. The first being my best friend (at the time) on a school trip away for a week, with a cabin to ourselves. In a way it did help my uncertain sexuality. I already knew that I liked girls, but this was a never before considered avenue. I would ultimately say yes, it was worth it, but for the longest time I regretted it. I still see him on occasion, we haven't mentioned it in years so it effectively didn't happen. Only now is it sinking in that it isn't taboo any more. It's in our nature as humans to explore, after all. If you have the opportunity, I say go for it. You just don't know until you try. Just be safe, if you end up that far.

Hmm, okay, thanks for sharing that. Sometimes I think it is taboo, maybe it is, but maybe not as much as some think.

In my personal experience absolutely. It really helped me discover my own sexuality at an early age and lead me down a path I may have been forever curious about otherwise. It is important though to make sure you and your partner are fully prepared and fully trust one another at each step.

For those who have: Is experimenting even worth it? OH YEA
Does it even feel good or help any uncertainty sexually? AT A YOUNG AGE YES IT HELPS, JUST A LITTLE REMINDER THAT LOTS OF PPL ARE THE SAME, SEXUALLY IT FEELS GREAT BECAUSE HONESTLY...FOR MOST PPL ITS THERE FIRST TIMES
Was it regretful? NO WAY, ME AND THE HOCKEY GUYS HAVE TOO MUCH FUN
And why are we so curious during puberty- AS MENTIONED EARLIER, YOU ARE ANXIOUS TO SEE IF OTHER GUYS OR GIRLS ARE THE SAME, AND IT IS USUALLY FIRST TIME EXPERIENCES

Same situation, but I don't consider myself bi, just still a bit curious. I did enjoy it and so did my friend, but we both still consider ourselves straight.
