What are you taking for A-Levels? Do mine seem like good choices?

Biology, Chemistry, English Literature, Computing

Probably going in to biotechnology or computing in the future

Then they're good choices.

They're very depressing and Sixth Form is a miserable two years. Have fun.

To add a little extra depth, you have a good balance between written and mathematical based subjects- And fairly challenging ones at that. Giving you good rounded skills. I would say out of them computing seems a little odd but don't let anybody tell you it's not worthwhile.

I've always been of the mindset, it's not what you study, it's what you gain from it that matters.

I do English literature, which books are you studying?

The user above said sixth form is a miserable two years. Well I'll say different. It's challenging, but if you enjoy your subjects, utilise your time well there isn't any reason why you cant still make time for the things you enjoy. Make sure you keep a good work/social life balance.

Yeah they're definitely challenging especially chemistry as I'm a bit maths weak but I'm reasonably confident I could at least pass the first year. Biology is the main one, I find it extremely easy at all levels but I'm not taking it for that reason, mainly because that and chemistry would help in biotech or something along those lines. Computing is useful for biotechnology as now there is cutting edge molecular modelling and protein folding (you might have heard of it) and if biology and chemistry doesn't work out I can go work with my brother in a good IT company hopefully.

I'm good at English and targeted A*, it's a solid choice and is desired by employers I'd guess. English lit is kind of a support to the rest of them
