I really didn't know where else to put this. Just out of curiosity, is some web browsing for porn to j/o to, illegal? Like will there be sites where a security thing will pop up or a legal thing?

Most porn sites ask if you're 18, but effectively accept people clicking an OK button. Technically I think it would be the site that would be in far more trouble legally for letting a minor (someone under 18) watch their site. More realistically I think the biggest trouble most of us get in to is a huge clip round the ear if caught by our parents!

Technaclly, you are not allow to post a minor (17 or less) of porn, that is illegal. If you watch it, upload it, send it if it's a minor you could go to jail. But it doesn't say you can watch porn over 18+. So be warned about the warning

It's not illegal as long as you don't watch stuff like paedophillic videos, but that's obvious really...

There are. By law u can't watch porn till about 16 or 18 depending where u r in the world. This means websites should have a legal thing on the site to stop underage viewing. Of course there are loads of good sites out there that don't care as long as u are on wifi and have safe search on google disabled

Well as you may have noticed most sites ask you to be over 18, but seeing as most people click the OK and are not 18 there isn't much they can do. :)

If you're under 18, it's technically illegal. However, there is absolutely no way for a website to obtain proof that you aren't 18 (assuming you're browsing free sites). If you enter CC details, they could obtain your age, but barely anyone pays for porn anymore. Not to mention, it can be a bad idea to do so. As long as you aren't browsing illegal porn (child porn), then the worst that could happen is having to explain your history to your parents :P.
