Methods for relieving depression other than therapy because that shit don't work on everyone.

There's alcoholism which is sorely looked down upon in our society.
There's Vitamin d which has been linked to more efficient brain functionality, not to be confused with Vitamin THE D.
Antidepressants, apparently they only work with therapy though.
According to SOME, working out can help.

Any other suggestions?

Self help. There are books and courses you can take that can help which I know works because my mum had clinical depression for years and was on the verge of suicide many a time and got through that with self help techniques and has now written her own book. Paul McKenna is a name that comes up a lot, his methods are well known and apparently very helpful.

Hypnotics is sometimes used as a form of treating depression but I don't know how useful it is and you would have to find a good hypnotist that actually specialises in that kind of stuff. Not just some street performer person.

Yeah my suggestions are a bit weird but they're taken with knowledge I have from what my mum went through.
