At St. George's University in London, scientists have been conducting research regarding the use of non hallucinogenic cannabinoids to treat cancer. It has been published in Anticancer Reasearch journal that cannabinoids such as CBD, CBG, and CBGV can stop the growth of cancer cells and in specific dosage patterns can even destroy cancer cells. These substances are relatively cheap to produce, making cancer treatment more affordable and they don't have the harsh side effects that chemotherapy or radiation therapy have. When alone, the cannabinoids have an equal effectiveness in treating cancer as THC but when combined they have an increased effectiveness.
