Um, Im not sure what it is, I'm not a dermatologist. Although I'd suggest that you try just some regular lotion. It could be eczema, caused by dry skin, I get that on my hands sometimes. If that's what it is it should look something like tiny red blisters. Otherwise, just keep the area clean and go with the lotion anyways. If it doesn't clear up soon or if it gets worse, see a doctor just in case it's some sort of fungus that needs special treatment. (and on the fungus note, make sure you change your socks regularly. If you're especially active, or if you just sweat a lot in P.E., this sweat can be held next to the skin, trapped in your socks, and be causing fungus to grow--not good!)

It could be psoriasis. My advice is to not scratch! Just, if you're concerned, go to a doctor.

Are you feet swollen at all? You could try some desenex on it and see if that helps, it could be a simple fungus infection on your foot but you should go to the doctor and find it.
It doesn't sound like Psoriasis though.

It could be a fungi of some sort. Or a rash skin condition. Lots of thinks can grow in that area. I would recommend a doc visit during the next flare up. They can do some tests figure it out and send you on your way. Until then for pain, if it actually hurts maybe advil or tylenol. good luck.

That is what I was thinking. Although I've never heard of it on someone's foot. I had a minor outbreak on a small portion of my arm not too long ago, and it went away without anything. My best opinion would be to use salacylic acid on the area, then wash it down with soap. It should be noticably less itchy and visible within a week.
