It just seams that I have to get overly tired to fall asleep, when I lay in bed with lights off and everything it usually takes me an hour to 3 hours to get to sleep, is this in any form or way insomnia?

Well by definition, insomnia is "the chronic inability to fall asleep or remain asleep for an adequate length of time"
Although there are lots of different types of it, depending on how severe, there is usually some reason for you to be suffering from it..i mean, it isnt classed as a disease in itself...it is usually one of the symptons of something else, like depression or stress...do you suffer from anything like that? you dont have to answer of course if you dont want to :) ...
