Hi. I am in high school but my girl friend got preganant last December while having sex.
She decided to have the baby (she is against abortion).
Her due date is in a week and she is scared of giving birth.
Anything I can tell her about giving birth or anything that might comfort her?
BTW I don't think she will give medicated birth. (really concerned. she is only 17)

Look up some pregnancy forums available online.
Those mention a lot on labor and what happens during birth.

I agree that you should look at pregnancy forums, but most of them will probably be with couples that have been trying for a while and may look down on you.
Tell her that pretty soon the pain is just going to be a memory, and she's going to have a beautiful new baby after. Tell her that you'll be there for her the whole time, and do it. Promise to rub her feet and give her chocolate, in the hours leading up to the actual birth. Comfort her, don't go to sleep if it's an overnight birth. Take care of her and love her. Tell her that even though she's going to be in pain, it will be a happy pain, because she will be bringing a new baby onto this earth. The most important thing is that you be there for her. If you love her it will be painful for you too, so be prepared for that.
I'm not sure if this is physically your baby or not, but you are an amazing person for being there for her through all this. Most people would run away as fast as they could. Kudos to you.

Hmm, yes. Even if she got pregnant the last day of the month her due date would be earlier, wouldn't it? She could be overdue but that wouldn't explain why her due date is a week from now?

Well you should be a daddy by now and should start paying child support. so Have you gotten that well paying job yet. because it is going to cost you a bundle for the next 18 years. Aren't you glad you talked her into having sex.

I agree with the others, you should check out a bunch of pregnancy forums and see what you can learn from there. Maybe look at them with her so she learns with you.

He never said the kid was his. And the father won't have to pay child support if he doesn't want to.

Then he's a scum bag. He had his fun with the girl but then there's a baby and he's not prepared to meet his obligations to her or the child. That's just pure scum !

Pregnancy is actually ten months. You count from your last period (which would be the reason why it's an extra month) to your due date.

If his girlfriend got pregnant than Im sure it's his baby unless she isn't his girlfriend and as for child support. I don't know what country you are from but here in the USA he will pay child support or go to jail. and if he doesn't pay child support the government will take the amount of the child support out of his check everyweek.

Check out forums and maybe find like a doctor to come and monitor the birth so it can go as smoothly as possible

Conception happens like 15-20 days after sex.

They are teens, to say that he is a scum bag is a bit unnecessary.

If he were older, that would be different, he may have screwed up by having sex but that does not change the fact that he is an unprepared, nervous teenager.
