What does this mean?

Many people that I speak to over SMS or are/were my friends. They would never contact me first, ever. They would reply to me but only if I texted or called them first. They would never call and ask to hang out. I always had to call them. Eventually I got sick of this because it felt like I was being a pest or other ways unwanted and an inconvenience they some how felt obligated to put up with.

So I quit talking to these people all together. I find 99% of people are like them. Least to me.

What is this? Do they mean something by this? I'm pretty simple and don't require much reading into socially, you get what you see with me. But I find lots of people love to be catty and I honestly hate cattyness and refuse to take part in it what so ever.
I'm also very very active. I like to do something all the time so iI'm constantly searching for new entertainment. I find most people are very lazy in my eyes.
Two things I notice about Americans. They seam more into the latest TV than doing anything else lol. Not to be biest but I do notice. Not my cup of tea, TV and what not.

Is this some weird catty message they are sending me? Or are people really just that lazy?

Any of you never ask to hang out first?

This sounds about right. You cant talk to people non-stop either. Maybe people dont want to do anything, maybe they worked too hard and want to relax for the rest of the day.

I've thought about that but I really don't like to talk that much either. I usually dont ask alotbof caring questions. Mostly just "hey! Whats up?". More than likely i dont care enough i thnk. I like a little chat but I don't want to drag it out for hours. I mean people just seriously never ask. I'll leave them alone for 2 months and they never reach out. Yet the respond to me when I do. Its strange to me. Why don't they just not reply at all then if they don't want to talk or hang out. Its not like i talk non stop or get too concerned about them like some people I know. I've stopped by and they are always just watching TV or something.

To me it seams like they are lazy BC if they were bbusy they would likely not respond to me. IMO. I only speak to one of these people any more on a very occasional basis. See if I get sick of some one I say so politely. I've grown up that way. Being honest like that.

I'm just trying to get the picture here. Can any one relate to them at all? Or me?

I wake up, start farm chores, workout, eat lunch, attend college or what ever I have planned, do more work, than pace around or fiddle with things In my room impatiently BC there's nothing left to do for the rest of the day. I do most things like riding my horses by my self which gets boring by my self every day for 5 years lol. Same with other outdoor sports.

I'm never tired. I work as much as any other person my age. None of that wears me out. I'm ready to go 24-7 really.

Perhaps I'm just far more active than the average person? I don't get it, what do these people do all day!?! Lol

Perhaps they know you're very active and don't want to bother you. Or maybe those people don't think it's necessary to text someone regularly or ask to hang out with them to consider them friends. Maybe you have a different definition of "friendship". Just live your life the way it suits you better and it keeps you happy.

Sometimes I also think that about people I know. For example, when classes finishes, I just want to go straight home so I can check the latest news on my PC, study and do my homework, relax, watch some TV, have a nice meal if I'm hungry, listen to some music, or just go to the shopping if I have the opportunity. I only have classes in the morning and I simply can't understand when people tell me that they spent the whole afternoon sitting in the street benches outside the school or laying in the grass, smoking and talking about random stuff with their friends, or just spend hours and hours in the bus queues or something. I like to take avail of my day so I can do the maximum things in the shortest time possible, and trying not to leave anything undone.

Idk. That could be. I like weird things. Like cold weather sports and horseback riding. Any thing outdoors. I don't see many people outside. Not where I live now anyway.

Just baffles me why they never text first but are happy to hang out orbchat when I text them. Idk it just felt weird so i quit talking to them. I could swear some one must have told them to pay attention to me. Like "you should pay attention to Kat when she calls"

Must be they don't like decision making? Lol waiting for some one else to decide. Must just be my area is odd like that. I know one girl was always watching TV, always. Must be they just zone out to the TV until I onterupt them xD I couldn't help but feel like I was some obligation or something. Maybe they just don't do anything plain and simple. O.o
