I would tell him if I was you as it is an invasion of his privacy, say that you were watching some straight porn and then a pop up came on for a gay porn site and as you were closing it you noticed him. Or tell him straight up you were watching gay porn either because you wanted to or disguise it as a laugh

Well her's the thing. I agree with all the answers above aswell, but was it a pop up? Were you logged onto your facebook in a different tab? Some websites have it where it browses your facebook and chooses a friend and puts his picture on it. But its only visible to you and the website doesnt post anything on your facebook. That is a high chance right there what may have occured.
