It started with one line:
perfectly straight, horizontal
My picture began to grow:
more straight lines
My style evolved:
circles and squiggles,
hearts and x's
Each day the picture grew,
it was never done
Soon after a line was drawn,
it began to fade away
A faint drawing:
the story of my life
Each line: another struggle
The drawing: a map
The medium: my skin
The inspiration: my pain

Thanks. Been 7 days now. Writing is my only coping method other than volleyball, but I'm injured. So this is it.
