Girls Hairy Arms

My girlfriend is the most beautiful girl ever but her arms... What is with girls and their hairy arms.. Why keep them like that

I find it a turn off, but the reason for girls having hairy arms is usually a medical problem, usually deriving from a malfunction in their thyroid, or a cist on their ovaries. With that being said, some girls shaved their arms at a yound age and caused the hair to grow back faster and they don't want to shave them for the fear of it getting worse, or last but not least they just don't care/or too lazy to care.

If a girl has some hair on her arms its perfectly fine, but when they have more arm hair then I do, its a turn off. And plus this is opinions, you don't have to like it.

It's fine not to find it attractive, but asking "why do they keep them like that?" rubs me the wrong way a bit. It's like asking why a guy doesn't shave his chest hair - because he doesn't want to.

Sorry. My point is that the OP asked "why do they keep them like that?" rather than "do you find this attractive?" It's an innocent error, but yeah.

Well like I explained in my first posts, their are a lot of reason for why a girl keeps them that way, or whatever. Its not always their fault, I just don't understand why they would let it get out of control. And I'm not biased I don't like body hair in general, I shave every part of my body just about, excluding leg hair. I just don't like body hair lol.

it could be culture or religion too. there are so many girls in sri lanka who don't shave anywhere. and there are some who shave everywhere. its just personal choice i guess. :)

lol.. come to this part of the world.. you'll be shocked.. do you know that some religions prohibit shaving... there are guys in some parts of india who don't shave or cut their hair.

This post is chock full of bullshit. "Most" girls don't have hairy arms because of their thyroid or ovaries, it's because getting hair on your arms happens to some people, it's genetic. Second, shaving doesn't make hair come back faster, that's a myth.

Then look it up smart one. A cist on an ovary can cause your testesterone levels to be significantly higher which causes excess hair growth... And the same thing with a overactive thyroid. Do your research before you want to deny someones post. And its not like I'm hating on girls either for god sake. And yes for some people its genetic. I was with a girl that had a overactive thyroid and I was with her at the doctor when she found out why she had more arm hair and body hair compared to normal.

I shave my arms because I can't stand having hairy arms as I don't like body hair myself, but I know most girls don't and tbh I don't blame them.. it's a pain in the ass. The thing about it growing back faster is indeed a myth but the most common cause for girls having really hairy arms is genes, and I'd imagine most girls can't be bothered adding shaving their arms to the long list of things society want them to shave/trim.
I agree with Ryan, if she's happy what's it to you if she keeps the hair on her arm or not? I've calmly asked my boyfriend to shave places so if it's really a major issue for you just ask her, you'd probably make her needlessly paranoid about a perfectly natural thing though.

That's not even what I said. I said "most" girls don't have hairy arms for that reason, most have it because of genetics.

It's a personal preference. If you don't like it, I don't mean to be rude, but either bring it up with her or move on. Appearance ain't all that important in a relationship though imo.

Its their personal preference. If they dont want to, they dont have to. You dont shave yours do you? So dont expect them to shave theirs
