so there's this guy I've known for like a year. we both go to the same youth group thing. The weird thing is we barely talk, but whenever I see him he's always smiling at me and he made a nickname for me. He also tried to initiate conversation with me at this event we had over the summer( of course we talked, and he's pretty funny and we were both laughing). I guess i'm try to ask if he's interested? i doubt he likes me, since we don't really know each other that well, but do you think there's some kind of attraction?thanksc:yeah:

It's weird, cause i'd be asking "are you interested in me?" like I don't like him or know him well enough to go out with him, so if he said yes..I don't know what I would do

Just notice how he interacts with you, see if he flirts, or stares a lot, or whatever. Then determine if he has interest.

You don't have to ask if you don't want to...you might be able to get a mutual friend to ask for you. Of course, it would have to be one you'd trust to give you the right answer, duh. :p

Flat out asking him is a terrible idea, especially if you don't feel the same way about him. You should hang out with him more and pay more attention to how he acts around you. If he likes you, it should be pretty obvious after you get to know him better.
