Do you have a curfew? Do you actually follow it?

My curfew is to be within my cities limits at 9 PM on school nights, and (at home by) midnight on weekends. It usually stays into effect until daylight. I try to follow it but sometimes I run over due to public transportation.

I don't have a curfew, but that's mainly because I'm working at all hours and get in at 10pm - 1am most nights. If I did have one, it'd probably be 11pm.

I do - but it is flexible I can always ask if something is on late.

I don't have a curfew. But I tend to be inside when it gets dark, which is earlier these days, around 8 pm.

I don't. mainly because there's pretty much nothing to do around here. But when I lived in the city I believe it was around 9PM.

I used to, now my parents don't care.

I have to be indoors by 8:00PM (unless I'm with a parent).

I don't really have one because I'm always working at night. I sometimes get home at 11pm-1:30am. But if I did, it'd probably be around 11:00pm and yes, I'd follow it.

And that's the problem so many parents " don't care",then they scream and cry when their "baby" gets killed, raped, mugged, kidnapped or arrested!

Sorry mom and dad don't go scap goating it;'s YOUR FAULT!

Not really, but I don't stay out long anyway since most of my friends have curfews. If I'm going to a concert or a festival, I can call my mom to pick me up whenever. The latest I've stayed out was 2 a.m.

Just because they do not care about time doesn't mean they do not care about me, they have their regulations and I follow them, because I am better than someone who will end up getting killed.

I don't go out lols

No really I do actually go out sometimes but I'm not like a hardcore partier. Until like a month ago, I couldn't drive past 11pm so i was generally in by then unless I was driving. However, now it doesn't really matter so yeah. Even so, I've never really had a curfew, although my parents would like me home by 1 unless I'm sleeping out. But there's never been a set curfew, and I've never been told 'be home by 10 or you're grounded'.

I'm pretty much the same. From when I was 12-16 I spent most of my time either home or with my best friend/girlfriend at the time at my place or hers. We lived in the same street. So because of that there really wasn't a set curfew. Once she started driving (she's a few months older then me) and we were able to go out and stuff, there was no real set curfew, but my parents wanted to know where we were and would call me to come home if I was too late. Now i'm basically an adult, I have no curfew and can do whatever.

that's not what I meant what I meant was most parents don't give a flying flip at all whet their kids do!

No, but I also don't go anywhere at night unless I'm with my mom or maybe dad. I don't have any friends and I'm not old enough to drive.

Considering Chicago is probably one of the most dangerous places in this country, I have to be home before the sun is down/street lights are on which is about 7:00-7:30

I never had a curfew because

1. I had no friends and therefore didn't go out. I didn't go out alone either
2. I never have been on a date
3. The rare times I do go out at night, it's mostly for some play at school
4. I can't drive

It used to be 10 or 11 PM (I don't really remember) when I was 15ish. I never went out when I was younger than that, so I never had a curfew. After that, my parents didn't really care: by the time I was 17, I could stay out all night and they wouldn't know. They trusted me because I never did anything bad.

Wow, I'm a little jealous. I've always had the earliest curfew for kids my age. Usually by an hour. Because of that, we'd end up at my house, so it wasn't horrible and it's still that way today. It also was the reason my parents allowed me to have kids stay over night so much. I have to be home or on our property by 10pm if there is school the next day, 11pm if there isn't.

I don't have a curfew, but I try to be home before 12 am whenever I go out because I know my parents worry if I stay out later without letting them know. And if I want to stay out later, they're usually fine with it as long as they know who I'm with and where I'll be.

during the summer my dad's a bit more loose. as long as my phone is charged, I can stay out as long as I want. I have to get myself home after 11 though, even if I miss the last train.

Lol wuts a curfew

Last bus by my house is 1am but the terminal is a 5 minute drive. If I stay out after 1, I needed to make sure I had cab money from the terminal. I try to be home before 12.

Before I moved I was in the inner city and stayed out all night usually.
I don't usually go out weekdays and if I did, I'd be in by 8-9pm since I went to sleep early. (Unless its summer ofc)

I don't have a curfew as such I'm just generally not allowed out in the evenings. I sometimes am but I'm not allowed to make my own way home my father would pick me up at a certain time.

I rarely go out on weekdays because of school, but when I do, I'm usually home by eleven, midnight at the latest. My parents are more flexible when I go out on weekends, though. I can stay as late as 1 AM if I let them know where I am.

Bump!

I have a legal curfew... City wide you're supposed to be indoors after 10 PM, and I'm not allowed to drive past 11PM until I turn 18. I think the curfew lifts at sunrise but I'm not sure (I'm rarely up for the day before sunrise anyways).
My dad is a lot more flexible though, he's let me stay out late before. I once got home at 5 AM after some crisis I was dealing with and he was halfway okay with it. As long as my reason is good enough, he usually lets me off the hook.

England doesn't really have legal curfews. I stayed out until 5am the other weekend with like four other people. Lying goes a long way in staying out.

I was never really out much by myself growing up, so I never really had a curfew lol
I live in Chicago which isn't the safest place at night, so I usually didn't go out much at night. I also usually just stayed home and watched tv or play on the computer when I got home (I was young ok :P).
Now, I don't really think I have much of a curfew lol. I've gone to school events that last long, and I've gone to concerts at night, and as long as my parents know that I'm safe, I think they don't mind. They know I'm responsible :)

My curfew was 11 pm when I started going out at night, so when i was about 15-17 it was that, and then when I turned 18 it stopped mattering as much and I could stay out until I was ready to come home. I haven't had a curfew since I turned 18, but my mom was pretty lenient about it even before that.

I've never had a curfew. I never went out when I was younger, and since my mom and I have lived alone a curfew would have done nothing anyways - since she works some very long and odd hours and I am home by myself a lot of the time. Regardless, I would hope that she trusts me :)

I don't have one, seeing some 18 year olds with early curfews like wtf I can go out whenever.

I'm back in NYC, so I have mass transit all night. I work late, getting home between 11:30pm and 2am. I can stay out as long as I want, especially now since I'll be living on my own soon.

I'm not sure it's even possible to have an enforced curfew when the nearest police station is literally 20 miles away. My parents say "come and go as you please, because there's nowhere for you to go".
