question on dating.....

Ok, so I am a freshman at my school, a school that is 7-12. And I have a crush on a 7th grader....I mean, we have a class together it's not just like, hey you look nice. But when I bring it up to my friends (pretty much, a bunch of girls) they all think that it's gross and/or creepy to like someone two years younger. So, just as a question to the general crowd out there, I am interested in your opinion. Not on my situation entirely, just that-do you think it's gross? Does it sound so wrong to you to date someone that young? I know it's not a very important question considering the things i've seen on this site, I was just curious as to your opinions.

That's what I thought, thanks.....I just thought I'd ask for opinions in general. I agree, the most extreme age difference I have ever seen was-I think a 30 year one. :/ So I absolutely don't care myself, just curious :)

If you two were in the same age bracket, no. But (going off of the US system here), She's 11-13, and you're 13-15 (usually). That gap is really large if you both are at the extremes, but depending on the ages, you guys are in different age brackets. She may be in the preteen bracket (10-12), and you are in the teen bracket (13-18). I'd be very wary about doing anything.

2 years? That aint no difference at all. My grandparents are 7 years apart.
