It's personal choice. You could try once and see how it feels. It will grow back. Just be careful and don't cut yourself.

This is the best thing that you can do. The only thing that you will get is some skin irritation and some itchiness. Baby powder works fine (:

well speaking from the perspective of a football player. i shave my pubes because it is allot less hot and its more comfortable. and i don't have allot of armpit hair but if i did i would at least trim it.

yeah I would keep my armpit hair - maybe trim it. Pubes I am comfortable with shaving as I prefer them short.

I personally trim my pubic hair because it does grow long but if your arm pit hair is at a suitable length to your liking, then it's fine.

I shave pits and pubes - but you could always just trim to start and see how it goes.
If you do shave and want to regrow be prepared for a few days of stubble itch
but after that its ok.
I think its less sweaty -

I have done wrestling all four years in high school and had my pubes shaved but not armpits it just a personal choice. It does not really matter it is your choice.

Personal choice. Just think to yourself, do you want to be touching others armpit hair when wrestling them. It also carries germs/bacteria aswell

I agree with the other posts, try it and see how you feel, then do whatever you want. I do have a few wrestler friends and I know they all shave everything.

It is about whatever you are comfortable with, take it slowly, trim then if you like that shave and see if you like that then you can work out the length you like the most and stay there, it doesn't matter what the other people do or what they think when it comes to hair, they would probably be impressed that you were brave enough to shave and might try it themselves but if they have a problem with it it's their problem, not yours

Try trimming it first, then you can see if you want it shorter, or want to grow it back. I play a lot of sports and much prefer mine trimmed.. its less sweaty under your arms and looks better down in your pubic area.
