OMG! another In This Moment fan!!!! :bounce:

I like certain songs but I will post the bands who I have most songs from. That's like more than 10 songs each lol Never found a band i like everything in.

The Birthday Massacre
Unsun
In This Moment
Evanessance
Linkin Park
Lady Gaga
Paramore
The Letter black
Винтаж (vintage) 'Russian'
Vanessa Mae
Daft punk

Sort of like a few songs from...
Thirty Seconds to mars
Fireflight
Foo Fighters
Ke$ha
Selena Gomez
Nickle back
Three days grace
Niki Minaj ... some times
Rhianna...but I only like her songs for a few listens and then they get annoying. Except for Umbrella
And the rest is just random artists who have made a song or two that I have liked or I do not know the names.

I have a very specific taste that is so specific it can not be defined.
Some people say I have 'No taste' but that would be false as a person with 'No taste' is the type that will listen to just about anything (satisfied with any radio station). I clearly have a defined 'Taste' as I cull out 90% of music that I hear to find the specific thing i'm looking for and i can not stand any radio station as they play 98% songs and artist who I can not stand.

Its a combination thing, an artist may have a perfect voice but the song will still lack the other elements needed, Emotion, Audio, and lyric.
It is VERY rare I come across a song I truly like and never gets old. I could count them on my hands. So inevitably I find other music which contains these elements or most of them and I find the song tolerable, even good if i don't hear it too much and add those to my list.

I am Incredibly hard to please. So far the only artists who have pleased me are.

In This Moment - Scarlet
The Birthday Massacre - Red Star, In The Dark, Burn Away
Lady Gaga - Bad Romance
Green Day - I walk Alone/Boulevard of broken dreams
Evanescence (Such powerful voice! Really hits those E's!) Those E notes make it all worth it combined with such powerful emotion and lyrics and good audio)
Винтаж (Vintage) Russian band
And two other unknown Russian artists. Songs - Молодая Лошадь, Я Люблю Тебя

---
Another interesting thing that may affect my taste,
I hear Many decibels above and below normal human hearing range. I can't sleep with an electronic device plugged in in the house. They emit high frequency which kills my ears! no one else Ever hears it.
And I can also hear a train coming from 20 - 30 miles away simply by the low frequency sound given off by the engine. It has a distinct pattern that I can recognize anywhere.
Even crickets sound different to me.

Most music has a garble to it, a jumble of high tones and some lower ones. Some songs are good but I can not Stand to hear the shrill garble in the back ground. No adjustment seams to fix this and no one else hears it. It was determined via a test after much of my life complaining about 'phantom' sounds that I hear above and below normal range.

Sound familiar? You might be just like me, its more prevalent than you might think

---
I could blab about music, like many things all day....lol. Can you tell I LOVE to talk!

Well I can tell you are picky about your music like me, I can count on one hand bands that I like more then 10 of their songs. One of my most favorite being glamour of the kill, puddle of mudd, bless the fall, and the song by in this moment that has amazing vocals is beautiful tragedy. And as well as you my hearing is very fine tuned. Tv's drive me insane most of the time because I can hear that low pitched whistle.. Thanks for your comment though, I enjoyed reading it :3

You like Avenged Sevenfold? Sweet. They're awesome  I was thinking to myself as I read the list, "If Avenged Sevenfold isn't on this list, something is wrong with this guy"

I have a far fetched music selection. It usually depends on my mood, who I listen to. I usually listen to:

When I'm in a pissy mood:
1) Asking Alexandria
2) Of Mice & Men
3) Coheed & Cambria <333
4) My Chemical Romance (I could listen to them anytime, actually)
5) Panic! At The Disco
6) P!nk (older music)
7) Paramore (older music)
8) UnderOath
9) Evanescence
10) Black Veil Brides (sometimes...)

When I'm in a good mood:
1) Ellie Goulding
2) Lana Del Rey
3) Avril Lavigne <333
4) The Beatles
5) Fall Out Boy
6) La Roux
7) Lorde
8) Florence & The Machine
9) Blood On The Dance Floor
10) Miguel
11) The Weeknd
12) All Time Low

When I'm depressed:
1) Blue October
2) (some of) Avril Lavigne

These are just some of the bands and musicians I can think of right now.
