Hiya,

In the UK when having sex both the male and the female have to be 16 or over. If the male is 16 but the female is 14 this is illegal. Basically if your under 16 then you arent supposed to have sex.

I recently looked this up for my bro (he ws 19 and his g/f was 17), and 16-24 is legal. so to my understanding anything under 18 is legal as long as the other person is under 18. if your both 13 it should be legal, anyways the law prolly wont be brought into it, jus ur parents :( lol. be careful and be safe, after some one takes it you cant take it back. make sure you truely love her/him and want to be 2gether 4ever

ok, most of you all have given completely false answers. You can have sex at really any age. the deal is. Minors. and non minors having sex. in most states the age of consent is either 16, or 18 (17 in new york). so what that means is:

if you are 16 or older, you can have sex ONLY with people over 16.

if you are 18 or older, you can have sex ONLY with people over 18.

and so on for 17 or what ever the age of consent is in your state. If sombody over the age of consent (16,17,18 ) had sex with sombody under, it would be considered, under state law, to be stateitory rape. that means that the two people both wanted sex, but because one was under the age of stateitory consent, they were "raped" in the eyes of the law.

sally sue is 16 years old. In her state, the age of consent is 18. Her boyfriend is 18 years old. They have had sex before, and sally sues mother found out that they had sex. Im pretty sure that a majority of you are all wrong...US the legal age is 18+ YOU HAVE TO BE 18+ to have sex. Otherwise its underage, illegal, the boy can go to jail/juvie for a long time, and the girl will have to suffer with a baby...which is very embarrassing. In the UK im pretty sure its 16+ ...same rules...you MUST be 16+ to have any sex.
