Obamacare vs. Affordable Care Act???
Which do you prefer? Why?
Is it worth shutting down a superpower's government for these two acts?

when America is balancing depts as it is, this really is not needed so I'm for affordable healthcare

also no it's not worth shutting down the government, America is now vulnerable and if the dept ceiling is not raised you will be in real trouble

America's healthcare system is a complete and total mess as it is, and Obamacare wasn't going to help the situation in any way.

This is a prime example of what's wrong with this country. People are stupid for the most part. They all form an opinion on whatever subject (healthcare, immigration, guns, taxes, the debt, military intervention, etc) and yet most of them have no idea what they're talking about. And it goes for both the left and right.
This is why our governemnt is disfunctional and gets nothing accomplished. People are voting for others but have no idea what they stand for or what the issues really mean.

I'm not going to pretend I understand either option fully: I don't. It's partly why I won't vote either. (The other part is because I believe America needs a proper Universal Healthcare system - not this with all its good intentions.) Regardless, however, it's not worth shutting down the government for.

I think the idea of the Affordable Care Act/Obamacare is good and all with helping people afford medical insurance but the way its implemented is horrible.


We just need a fucking universal healthcare system like smart countries such as France(Number one ranked health system in the world),Canada,UK

Im not even going to get into this, ive already covered the faults of both before and i think Walter will say the same. They both dont do shit for us, they just fill the pockets of politicians.

Well, neither o one would help... They should just leave our somewhat poor healthcare system be. Making it better will not help the economy at all.

Obama should really just do what he has been before proposing ACA, or Obamacare. (They really are the same bloody thing.)

The point of this thread was not to see if you guys actually knew what obamacare is,

instead I wanted to see if you guys actually read the OPs first post......obviously over 20 of you did not, i posted that they are the same thing and the video stated in the end that they are the same.....
and the thing is many of you are "wise" active members but you looked as foolish as the people in the video, which once again many of you skipped,
especially you westerners, the video is from Jimmy Kimmel and if you dont know who he is, you obviously live under a rock, its suprising the answers you gave are just like the peope from the video, thank you for participating, this also shows some of you have no clue what youre saying in these threads
