Title gives you a general idea. I feel pathetic and worthless. I always feel this way, deep down, even I'm having a good day. I don't know why I feel this way. I feel like such a loser and I want to get away from my life. I can listen to music or play music all I want, which gets my outer mood up but my deep-down worthlessness stays. I don't know what causing this or what to do. I know it could just be hormones messing with my head, but as I said, the thoughts "you're worthless" and "you're pathetic" are always in my head; it's just a matter if they manage to surface to the foreground of my thoughts Any suggestions to stop feeling this way and truly feel happy again?

Well our fist step to helping you is trying to find out what is causing the depression. Is there any family, friends, or school issues that could be causing this? (Bad grades, lots of homework, parental/friendship issues?)
If you have really good friends, just talk to them about it. Listen to your favorite music, play your favorite games, hang out with your friends. Just keep doing stuff you love. The more stuff you do that involves social stuff, usually helps because it takes your mind off of it.

Well I am kinda stressed out by homework in combination with instrument practice. It was never a problem before. But then again, I'm taking all honors courses. Could that be it? I don't have family or friends issues right now.

That could definitely be a part of it. I used to have those stress issues really badly.

You are probably going through a moment of self hate like I did, a solution that I found is to stay busy, take on a new hobby or something to distract yourself

Please Andrew you're not worthless or pathetic, on the contrary you are the opposite! You are special, you are so talented and mature and smart. Every morning when you wake up, force yourself to smile. Anytime you're feeling down just force yourself to smile. Remember you are special and beautiful and wonderful and talented and so many people love you.

Well now, I've gotten my term 1 progress report and I got two As, one B, two B-s, and I don't know about English. This isn't my standard. Usually's it's no less than a B. Well, I got one of the B-'s in math because of one insanely hard test. But at least I now know what to expect on those, and I wasn't the only one with a poor grade on it. But, the other one - come on. Ugh...my motivation just died this month...this sucks...

Guess what? Grades aren't everything. no matter what your parents say they aren't everything. If you are taking all honors classes then As and Bs are great. There is no need to stress over that. Just keep on being you, embrace your music and be who you want to be. We have all procrastinated before, we've all missed an assignment, we've all been stressed out. I know I feel that way all the time, hell I tried to kill myself. It's not worth it. Everyone has a special talent that they are meant to utilize so nobody can be worthless or pathetic. Don't sweat the small stuff, keep pushing through school so you can be who you want to be.

Hey buddy--
if there's anything I can say about how you're feeling, it's to stop! Every single person in this world has a reason to live and continue to live. You're right...it could be hormones, and if that's the case you should feel better soon. Just remember, if you're in need of someone to talk to, there are people out there that will listen.
Btw, there's a great program called TeenLine. I would check it out. The cool part is you talk to kids just like you, which makes it very comfortable.
Do a Google search for it.

I feel worthless all the time deep down, but I try to (and sometimes succeed) in tricking myself. I have to pretend I am always happy because of my friends, so, sometimes I find that forces my internal mood to think I'm happy too. maybe if you act happy and bubbly outside? I hope you stop feeling worthless, I mean I know it sucks!!!

I've already tried that. It doesn't work for me. The deep-down feelings of worthlessness and whatnot are still there. I tried but it just didn't work.

Life has ups and downs for everybody.
It is how you can master those 'turning points' which make you a great person.
As mentioned by 'Amazerful', it can be a period of self-rejection which I opine you have to calm yourself down and use the method 'Kylem' has suggested.
xXPrincessXx is certainly correct. There are people who likes you. I personally admire your personality.
Be strong dude...do what you know best.
And do take everything for a challenge(it's what I do). I mean, compete against yourself first then compare with others.
:) :) :)
You are SPECIAL and TALENTED!!!
