Yeah me too same as Ben...it was in a scorching sun, I was playing football and with the win in mind.
Unfortunately, I was very tired and got sick. I threw up in the English literature class in front of everyone...how horrible that day was!

At my school athletics carnival I was doing the 100 meter sprint, their was about 20-30 grade 8 boys so we were split into groups of five. When it was my groups turn to the man shot the starting pistol and i face planted but I got up and still came 3rd. But I ran it with my face covered in mud.

I share your pain. If not for running, I'd be pretty much useless at sports and have embarrassed myself plenty of times.

Just recently, I was in a game of Badminton in PE. I made a big show of going into hit the shuttle cock as it came over the net. But I missed it spectacularly.

I was playing football in gym and I scored, so I threw the ball down like a show off and hit myself in the face ...

If you scored in football, then you mustn't be THAT bad at it.

Over here in England, we don't play American Football. Our equivalent is pretty much Rugby. I've only scored once and even then, no one tried to tackle me because they couldn't be bothered chasing me XD

When I was in primary school I couldn't catch for shit, used to constantly get hit in the face by basketballs, footballs, anything really.
By high school I could catch but I also briefly went to the gym during this time, thought it'd be clever to turn a treadmill on full speed and try and stand on it... my knees were a mess to say the least. Not much embarrassing happened after that :P

Well 9th grade was my first year playing Varsity football, and in the first game of the season I was a bit nervous since it was my first time playing high school ball and it was the first time my school had a freshman starting QB, well anyways I'm more of a pocket passer now but back then I used to think I could run over the defense and scramble since I assumed it would be like middle school ball where the kids couldn't tackle and I usually had no problem passing or running then (here comes the embarrassing part) well that in mind in the third possession I decide to scramble on a third down and....... Got laid out. Bad. Like really bad by a senior LB. I fumbled the ball and got a concussion like symptoms. And sat for the rest of the game. I ended up having a pretty good season and was my only fumble lost that season. I learned my lesson and have become a pocket passing QB since I'm not that big.

Before I was diagnosed with (type I) diabetes, I would get a lot of stomach pains randomly. (As it turns out, this way my body going through ketosis as I had no insulin to carry/deliver energy) Anyway, I was playing pee wee football and I ran onto the field. I'm playing linebacker at this point in time and so I line up to get ready for the play. I suddenly start to feel my stomach hurting a lot. Turns out I also missed the point in time where the play started, but it did and I was still sitting there with a huge stomachache. To make things worse, the running back ran STRAIGHT through me, causing me to throw up a lot and cry hysterically. I could never play in those leagues again.

When I was playing soccer, my shorts slid down. That wasn't the worst part, the worst was when I was trying to pull them up when I was running and I did a total flip, got an applause for it at least. Least I wasn't commando that day!

My first rugby match what was televised I forgot to tie my shoe laces due to me being so nervous, I was running on the field as a sub and tripped over just before the pitch.
