is this the first time you guys have argued like this?
if this is recurring, you should let him know flat out that it's something we need to work on if he wants the relationship to work

Relationships take time - maybe he needs to open up a bit
you have to say what you want and need in the relationship.

I didn't quite get what you were saying, but it's important for things to be a two way street and balanced as possible. Things are offset some in my relationship because of my autism, but we've learned how to work with that. He's remarkably patient and I try my best to make it easy on him as possible.

Communication is one of the most important things in a relationship. Asking him what's wrong and then telling him he just complains about his life is a bit harsh-because something could really be wrong. Maybe he's still feeling upset about the whole bullying incident? That's not something you get over quickly. The best thing to do is simply be there for him and wait for him to open up.
I'm really bad about not texting the people I like. I feel like I'm bothering them. Ask him why he doesn't text/msg you. Tell him that you feel hurt because you're always the first to message and you would love it if he started messaging you first.
I hope all goes well. :)

it's not that easy "talk to him about this"
i had a boyfriend and whenever i tried to solve something or talk about anything important he would turn me down by saying "babbles babbles"
blows because apparently youre more mature than he is
