With the Nexus 5 reportedly being released from anywhere from tomorrow, October the 14th, the end of October or before Christmas I thought it was time to start a Nexus 5 thread.
Personally, I think this could be one of the best phones of all time and I hope to back this up with the list of supposed leaks.
What We Expect
From the reviews of the Nexus 4, you would expect the following to be in the new Nexus 5.
Larger Battery Live (Anywhere up to 3000mAh with the nexus 4 having a 2100mAh battery)
Better Display. Although this is expected with every generation upwards of a phone, some people are speculating this phone to have a 4k resolution. However, I think 1080p resolution is a much more likely option as google tends to try and make Nexus devices affordable. Which moves me on to my next point:
Around the $299 mark for the phone. The reason why the Nexus 4 was so cheap was because Google paid for almost half of the cost of the phone or didn't allow brand names to bump up the price (This is ofcourse if you compare it to simmilar phones on the market)
Quad Core processor. Why would it put in a smaller processor than it's predecessor? Also, phones don't really need a larger processor yet. If google want's to improve the speed of their phones they should start with android first.
3 GB of RAM. However, I wouldn't be supprised if it had 2 GB of ram like the N4 as yet again, phones dont need any more right now and that would only increase the price of the phone.
13 MP camera. This would be going with the trend of phones having incredible cameras. There are also rumors that the sensor may be made by Nikon.
To Look like the LG G2. With the N4, LG decided to design it similar to one of it's other phones. If they decide to do it again, they would most likely decide it make it look like the G2. However, there are some apposed pictures all ready out there, so it may look like the following:

Taken from a leak of a FCC filing

A google employee supposedly left a nexus 5 behind in a bar. However, this could be a publicity stunt.

In a video of the unveiling of the KitKat statue, they accedently left in a video of someone using a Nexus 5 device. The video was taken down in a day or two after someone noticed.
Wireless charging. In another leak, the ANTUTU benchmark leak, it showed the device having wireless charging.
Android KitKat. Also in the ANTUTU leak, it showed the device running KitKat OS.
I personally cannot wait for the Nexus 5. I am probably going to order it on the second of release.
What are your thoughts of the Nexus 5? Do you have a Nexus 4? are you going to get a nexus 5?
