What's your view on grinding at school dances? and/or how does each gender feel about it, like about it, hate about it, etc...

I feel old saying this, grinding is in no way appealing. I mean, all you're doing is dry humping. I'd understand if it's done at a club between adults (even then it's still bleh), but at school dances or teenagers grinding in general is gross.

Hate it, usually when people grind the school shuts down all the other dances for the year. So usually there's only dance 1 a year and then 1 more dance for seniors only because it's their last year.

I don't like it. If they want to have sex, alright but dancing that is ridiculous.

Can't say I've ever even been to a dance, so I wouldn't know.

I would consider that to be a lewd sexual act.
To be done in privacy and not in public.
But I'm old fashion. Just my opinion .

Funny to read how everyone posting is so against it. My High School was infamous for their dances and the things that went on there, grinding was the least inappropriate. I always viewed it as normal, even at Junior and Senior prom everyone was grinding. Then I went to some other schools proms I got invited too and no one was grinding, I was like "Wut?". Now in college its what always happens at parties and concerts.

Don't really feel strongly about it one way or the other, just grew used to it and don't really care.

I'm with Thanatos here, too much conforming going on here lol. Although grinding is against our school rules, kids often grind at homecoming easily because my school is quite large (there are around 2500 people at homecoming), and it doesn't create much of a fuss among students.

I've never been grinded on but do what you want as long as you're not having sex on the gym floor lol.

Kids grind each other during every dance at my school and nobody cares. Hell, the teachers even admit that they know about the grinding, and they don't take any action about it. We still have numerous dances every year that always end the same way. The boys walk out with big wet spots on the front of their dress pants where they jizzed in them, and the gym is left smelling like sweat and bodily fluids.

Do what you want as long as you're not having sex on the gym floor lol.

It's not uncommon to find a condom or two on the gym floor at my school dances after the dance is over and everybody is gone. I can tell you that for a fact because I'm in the Student Government class that is responsible for planning, setting up, and cleaning up the dances. Due to what we all know happens at the dance, clean up duty is generally considered a punishment of sorts. Lol

Hahah I don't know about condoms but I have heard of stories about kids having sex on the floor there. I don't see why though considering that would be incredibly uncomfortable.

Don't much wrong about it. In middle we had formal but you had to dances like 2-4 feet away from each other. Now in high school you can do anything at prom. It's nothing wrong with if anything it's up to her to do it.

It's just dancing. I've done it, it's not really a big deal at all.

I love grinding. But I can see how it's inappropriate, and people probably shouldn't do it at a school event.

I've found it quite awkward.
