What would you do? Please help.

I tried keeping the story short as possible. Please help me:

In the beginning of the month I started talking to this guy. He was such a catch compared to the dirty bags before. We would text each other everyday and even see each other everyday. Then one day the texts got scarce. The following day even more scarce. He asked when I got off work. I replied, he didn't. I texted him when I got off work. No reply. I checked Instagram before I went to bed- He was at the club with his friend! .... it gets better.

The next day he texts me, "Hey cutie. Sorry I fell asleep on you". I replied, "Lol/ went clubbing :P" He said, "Well we weren't out that long".

We weren't even dating for a week yet and he not only did he lie to me but he avoided me. That's what hurt me. I haven't talked to him since. I unfollowed him on Instagram but lately his been liking all my pictures. At least one a day! I was going to make a post last night but didn't until he liked a picture again just moments ago!

What would you do? I'd hate to be the person to give in and text him when he screwed it up.

He might just not be interested in you anymore. Him liking the pictures might just be him trying to cheer you up.

Another option is that he wanted to take a break from you. I dont want to text people 24/7 either, so maybe he just wanted a break.

And the last option is, he didnt think he was interested in you, so he stopped. Then regretted it and tried to get you back.

I'd just talk to him about it, ask why he lied.

Yeah- Maybe I should text him seeing what's up. I don't know how I'd go about that... maybe I'll just say I've noticed him liking my pics.

Oh god. People need to stop letting social media play such a big role in their lives'. If you guys are really dating, and you honestly think he's avoiding you, then bring up the subject with him over the phone/face to face. Don't go by what's happening online because to be honest, "liking" pictures on Instagram does not mean anything.
