I'm 14 and uncircumcised and recently realized that I'm supposed to be retracting my foreskin over the head? Luckily I have plenty of time, but I'm already large for my age, and it will be difficult to retract it with 6" girth. I haven't really retracted it much at all yet, and i was hoping it would do it itself, but that's clearly not the case. I'm hoping to get some advice and I'm wondering how much you can retract your foreskin.

Thanks! :D

BTW! there's no way in hell I'll get cut!

All you need to do is pull on it gently once in a while and it'll start softening up. I did that and mine retracts easily and smooth :)

When in the shower just practice pulling it back gently every day until it retracts all the way.
Every boy's foreskin is attached to the head when they're born and by the age of 12/13 they should come separated on their own so you can retract it - this is when you need to start washing the head of your penis in the shower. With some boys their foreskin just takes a bit of persuasion to separate, as is with case with you. I couldn't retract my foreskin fully until just before I was 15. When you are able to retract it you will need to start washing the head otherwise it's unhygienic.

Hope this helps x

Yeah, it's definitely a good idea to retract the foreskin fully (to keep clean)

Retracting it in the shower makes is quite easy and should get easier with time.

All's you have to do is start to retract it, slowly, when you are in the shower. It will start to soften up and eventually it will be able to full retract.

A lot has been said already. Can you retract it when soft? If so, it is just time and practice. Being wet (shower or bath) helps. You can visit the doctor for cream or advice. Circumcision is an option (if you want it), and is only necessary in extreme cases of phimosis (tight foreskin)

Difficult to help you as I'm proudly circumcised. Maybe you could evaluate cutting it.

No, I can't retract it over the head when soft either :/

I can tell you I got mine to retract by slowly trying to pull it back further every time I wash my dick. It might just take a bit more time for you. If you're still not able to pull it back when you're done with puberty, maybe that you should consider circumcision.

Just keep practicing it at different times to get used to it. It's important that you wash under the foreskin by pulling it all the way back. I'm surprised there seem to be so many that we not taught to clean it when they were little.

The other thing to ask, is the foreskin still attached to the head of the penis? or could you have a tight frenulum (the "banjo string bit attaching the foreskin on). If you have no real movement of the skin at all, it may be worth a quick check-up with your doctor. There are creams available. It does NOT necessarily mean circumcision. If you've any further questions, you can PM me if you want.

I can't tell if its still attached, but it does have some movement.

Keep practicing at pulling and stretching it. Don't overdo it until it's too sore. Results will take a little time.
