I'm thinking of starting to practice soccer out on my local fields after school for an hour or an hour and a half so I can improve my cardio, stamina, health, and just so I can get better at it. :P

For any soccer players out there, either for a team or casually, what do you suggest I need other than cleats and a good soccer ball (including the small things like good socks, etc)? Could you give me some pointers to good brands/models?

Thank you :)

Before u read this, just bare in mind that I am a pretty intense football/soccer player so I always have the best of everything so yh...

Defo need shin pads. Other things u may want are some skins or compression shorts depending in weather. Very useful. Also may want some Astros, which r like boots (or cleats for u Americans) but haven't got studs. This means u will be able to wear them on like AstroTurf or concrete or wtvr. That obvs also depends on where u will be playing.

Brand wise, everything I wear is nike. I use nike pro compression shorts and top and I always get nike boots. Just got these a few days ago

Other than that u should be ready to go. Good luck!!

If you practicing by yourself, bring some cones so you can dribble around them. My dribbling improved drastically after I started doing that.
