Happy trail

I hope this photo isn't an issue. It's an iPhone picture of my happy trail, which I am dying to get rid of. This is my third, I shaved it twice. This is what it is now. I have mostly dark body hair (whereas some people have lighter), it's very very obvious. If I shave this again, how worse will it get? It's just gross, and I don't want to shave it every week or so. Of course, this pic is an iPhone, so you don't see everything. Thanks.

Shaving doesn't make it come back any worse. You could try and keep up with the shaving but its hard to do. I have the same problem and just shave it from time to time when I know people are going to see me without a shirt.

If you shave it it just comes back thicker so it's more noticeable. You could wax but I may hurt a bit but I wont grow back as fast as it would if you shave.

Personally if I were able to grow that I wouldn't shave it lol but if you don't like it then keep shaving it. It hardly seems worth stressing over. If you don't like it get rid of it.I mean, it's such a small area how long could it possibly take? 10 seconds?

Just gonna have to keep shaving it. Shaving doesn't make it grow back any faster or thicker, so you don't have to worry about that. You could also try waxing, I've heard that lasts a bit longer than shaving. If you don't feel like shaving that often, just shave it when you know people are going to see you with your shirt off.

Shaving is the only thing you can do. You cannot make it disappear forever unfortunately.

Even girls have unwanted bikini line hair. Shave it or wax it. Waxing would be best since it's just a single strip of hair, it would be quick and easy to get rid of.

You just have to keep at it. There is no way to slow down it's growth. I trim mine every now and again.

I had more hair than that on my stomach when I was 12, seriously. Now my whole stomach and chest, top-to-bottom and side-to-side is covered in hair way thicker than that. Don't worry about such little hair.

Unfortunately, as a guy hair is part of the package, and shaving is probably going to be your best bet to get rid of hair. It seems like you might become hairy overall which is why you might want to consider investing in a body hair groomer which would make the process of shaving off unwanted body hair like your happy trail pretty effortless. Luckily, it does not seem like your hair is too thick, and even a regular razor and shaving cream/gel will do the job. I hate to be a Debbie Downer, but if you're from a hairy family, then you might be fighting a loosing battle against body hair.

As for permanent removal of your hair, the only solution to that is electrolysis. Electrolysis uses lasers to destroy the hair follicles in a given area which permanently removes the hair. The problem is electrolysis is pretty expensive, and my understanding is that it can be painful.

If you have the time and the patience, then your other best option might be waxing. Waxing can at least keep the hair away for a month (depending on how fast your happy trail grows in) though it can get really tedious to keep up with waxing. Also, waxing hurts!

I know how you feel, and I think your feelings are right. Just invest in a body hair groomer, and you should be all right.

Either shave or for a longer solution get some home-use waxing strips. Personally I shave mine.

I'm afraid that you will have to shave it, if u don't want it. It can come back a bit sharper so if u are going to shave it you are going to have to shave it forever. The only other thing you can do (WHICH I REALLY WOULDN'T RECOMMEND) is burn the hair off which will also stop it growing back but it will BLOODY KILL! why don't u want a happy trail? They are bloody sexy

You should shave it every day in the shower. I just get it a little lathery and do 1 or 2 strokes with the razor and it is gone for the rest of the day. I've used hair removal cream and it keeps it away. I agree, it looks better shaved. I personally think it is kind of gross on me. I want to show my abs, not my hair. Euhhhh : )

There are plenty of ways to get rid of hair such as shaving, waxing and removal creams.

To me there seems to be a strange obsession with removing hair. Have the manufacturers of hair removal product convinced people that hair is bad so as to sell as many products as possible? Or do people remove body hair because it is a visual clue to other people that you are developing? If the latter then becoming a man rather than a boy is something to embrace rather than hide.
